Matt Benne is an American multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer from St. Louis, MO.  Even though Matt’s baby face may deceive you, he has 20 years of experience as a guitarist & song writer. In addition to learning guitar at a young age, Benne has also taught himself how to play drums & piano. Though these are his primary drivers as a musician, they are not his limitations as a song writer.   “In 2020 Ryan Cheney & I were working on The Lion. On the first track, Jesse James, I felt we needed to kick up the southern vibes a bit, and threw down some banjo. It was so funny because no one in my camp knew I had it in me!” As a founding member of the St. Louis based band, Fivefold, Benne has contributed to writing songs with millions of streams across multiple platforms worldwide.
